If you have never heard of mandel bread, you are not the only one. Mandel bread is often referred to as "Jewish biscotti" and has traditionally been a Jewish food. Both Italian biscotti and mandel bread are baked two or three times, and the key difference between the two is texture. Mandel bread is not as hard or dense as Italian biscotti, and has a sweet cinnamon sugar coating on every piece.
